In our typical fashion, we decided to go west, to go south. Our mission for this trip was to go to J&M in Tucson, AZ to fix our headsets and hit a few parks on the way, and to visit some friends and family... It's been a long nearly 6 months since riding, so when we heard there was a super bloom in Death Valley, of course we are going to Death Valley! It's on the way'ish...
| Saddle West in Parumph, NV was a very nice place for $40 |
| Any guess? |
After our short night, this is what we covered
| I like adobe type homes built into the hillsides. I guess it feels more like less of a human footprint on environment. |
| This water is outside the park |

| Finally a park selfie, it's been soo long! |
| Whoa! There are actually flowers in Death Valley! |
| See the caterpillar on the stem of the Desert 5spot? So much life in such a deplorable place. |
| The wildflowers look like sunshine against the slopes of the hills |

| Isn't all that color amazing? |
| Sideways yellow heart |
| Really like striations |
We drove and drove... Matter of fact, I went about 10 miles further than I really wanted to go, but for some reason I just could make myself turn around and then we saw the view below!
| I was sooo happy I didn't turn around. |
| I think this is a world class picture that Shannon took. I think she should submit it to the National Park Service. |
| The red spots inside the flower are tiny bugs |
| Caterpillar |
