Iceland Day 5 (Hvitserkur Ehf, Hellnar Arch, Aurora)
Hvitserkur Ehf As happened most evenings/mornings on this trip, we would wake up early and decide that we were going to move toward our next destination. We did just that this morning and headed to Hvitserkur Ehf, a cool looking sea formation off the coast. I figured I could get a shot in the dark assuming that my low light lenses would assist. I didn't plan on the formation to be tucked away and not visible until daylight. The parking lot was closed for the winter which made it more challenging. We then did the only thing we could - take a nap until daylight! There's that raven again. Horses enjoying sunrise. Airing out his wings. The handicap accessibility of toilets in various WC's had a pretty simple, slick design. They folded up flat on the wall and pulled down easily.
