April 22-23, 2015 Las Vegas, NV - Honolulu, HI We found a $30 room and Fiesta Rancho and spent the night so we could get an early start to securing a storage spot for the bike.  Once we figured out that our best bet was with http://www.extraspace.com/ , we headed out to see the Red Rock Canyon.  Not really a national park, but they do have stamps and our NP pass got us free admission.  We've discovered a new set of parks managed by the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) that are dotted across the west with their own stamp program to compliment the National Parks Passports...Bonus!!       We're coming for you soon Joshua Tree National Park! Wow! Seems like God took a paintbrush to the mountain.  I like his choice of colors! No problem! Deer are much more dangerous! Awesome colors. He sure did a nice job painting in the lines... lol More desert spring flowers  Apr...

April 20, 2015 - Kingman, AZ - Las Vegas, NV Casa De Sherm & Pat  We arrived at Sherm and Pat's house in Kingman, AZ pretty late (midnight-ish I think) on the previous night, to a very full garage with just enough space for us to pull right in.  Stewey opted to give up his guest bed for an air mattress so that Shannon and I could have the bed.  Not necessary but we appreciated the gesture and accepted since it was late and everyone was tired and making Stewey move everything back would have been a chore I'm sure.    Bike parking ONLY!   Our gracious hosts in the left picture! And Stewey, the guy that took the airbed, pic on the right! Stewey is headed back to Chicago after buying Sherm's Whitewing (White Goldwing actually lol) and so Sherm planned to ride with him for a spell to show off some of Rt 66 and to see him off. So I opted to join the short ride. Shannon didn't join us because ...

April 20, 2015 - Tuscon, AZ to Kingman, AZ 2.5 National Parks and 382 miles We were in Tucson last night and caught some nice saguaro cacti sunset shots.  We tried to meet some friends and business associates while we were in the area, but it just didn't work out this time around.  It was a nice treat as we got to stay at the Four Points Sheraton for $64 a night all in! We decided to treat ourselves to a few drinks and dinner at their fancy restaurant.  Service both in hotel and restaurant was VERY GOOD, the food wasn't very good.  Kind of a waste of a good night 'out', but still nice to stay in such a nice place.         We actually came to J&M to get our communication problems fixed once and for all!  We spent allot of money here, but now we have the ability to conduct some business while we are actually on the road 'hands free'.  While our headsets are being installed in our h...
