Day 10 TSheets

We visited one of our favorite vendors today.  TSheets is a time tracking software that has an awesome integration with QuickBooks. 

Hangin' out and working in the "conference room".   And some of you think all we do is play...like the bottle below says - our strategy is to Work hard, Play Hard!  No wonder we get along with this awesome crew so well!


I put my TSheets gold tattoo on before we left California and it travelled over 1800 miles to see it's TSheets friends in Eagle, ID.



Could not resist a Pic in front of the TSheets wall with my gold shirt on.  These shirts were given to their special partners.  Not even employees got a Gold foil shirt.  My shirt was the envy of nearly every employee in the office - even the guys!!

 We took off by 6:30 to get an early, cooler start.  There are a few parks near Albquerque and Grants, NM that we have never been able to hit.  We had several hours of riding through more ranch land and oil fields then we hit the red rocks. There were at least 15 open parking spots in the lot...but this guy arrived late in the evening and had to have the spot next to us. Got an early morning start...after how hot it got yesterday...we were surprised that it was only 73 and stayed cool for several hours???   A very neat site along the way...depicting Jesus' tomb with the stone rolled back.  Quite neat to see at sunrise. The sky had a distinctive line across it where the day was breaking. In front of the "Cowboys and Cowgirls" School Tatum, New Mexico is the home of iron artwork (if you needed any)     Not a National Park but Smokey plays a big part in the National Parks Quite windy today....

Day 5 - Walsenburg, CO to Vernal City, UT

Day 5 - Oct 12, 2014, Walsenburg, CO to Vernal City, UT 520 miles, 4 National Parks and 2 states (Colorado & Utah) AND 2 Bureau of Land Management sites (Petroglyphs)   Final shot of the Rockies. And my how we love the beauty of the Rockies. Headed south to the Great Sand Dunes.   Out in the absolute middle of nowhere, we came across this shrine sitting back off the road.  It looks like it is a tribute to some area Indians that have died recently.  Pretty neat all of the items left. There was a special ceremony of sorts a few years back. Great Sand Dunes were pretty spectacular!  You are travelling along surrounded by high desert and mountains; in the absolute middle of nowhere are these sand dunes! Fall 2014 Cross Country National Park Trip (Day 1)

Day 1 - Oct 8, 2014, Ohio to Luverne, MN 810 miles, the 1st National Park of this trip and 5 states Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota   We had the opportunity to drive across country to hit some National Parks on our trip from Kalida, OH to San Jose, CA for a conference. We were weaving across the country hitting as many National Parks as we could on this journey. And part of that mission was to hit some of the park that were more difficult to get to and some that were much less popular. We had 11 days to get to San Jose for a conference and then our car that has been in storage is getting a "luxury container cruise" over to Honolulu to it's new home.    This blog is retro of the 2014 fall trip as we have had many people ask us to blog our adventures.   Here is a map of our Adventure...sweeping the country!  Our itinerary was decided by how many National Parks we could visit. ...
