Utah Day3 - Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands National Parks
We decided to ride alone today and head toward Arches and Canyon Lands National Parks. Many times we are a bit more ambitious for longer mileage rides simply due to the fact that we can only ride for limited days while on the mainland. Even though we always try to return a different route than we originally go, this trip prohibited it by time and extra distance.
Heading out of Torrey headed to Capital Reef National Park |
Our first stop, and the bike was cleaned-up a bit. |
Shannon is mastering the rear view mirror shot, and now she has two! But my hand doesn't seem interesting. |
This is the Luna Mesa area :) And not because we are crazy... |
Below is where we ate breakfast. Not many people there, which usually means not real good, but this was great! We found out that a big filming crew just left from filming Point Break. Food and service were awesome!
Shannon loved the color changes |
She must think I have sexy hands |
It was a busy day at the sign, several times we were interrupted trying to get our pic. |
So we took another at the Visitor Center. |
Looks like a lion on the prowl. |
Balanced Rock |
Windows |
Delicate Arch |
Sand Dunes Arch |
We really liked the Grand Canyonish look and feel and woooohooo, nice looking woman in front of it. |
This is not mine! My wife needs Google :) |
Green River Canyon |
I was amazed with the birds perch outside the nest :) |
Did you want to see Shannon's swollen feet? |
