Virgin Islands NP and San Juan NHS
No matter where we go, we always have our NP radar on. When planning our cruise with my parents, uncle and aunt we began to identify if there were any NP's on our route. We were in luck when we found both St John and San Juan had great places to visits...and of course some NP stamps! The challenge: the cruise ship was only in port at certain times and for 4 hours for each island port. That meant we had to know where we were going and couldn't mess around. Our first NP stop on 3/4 was to St Thomas. The Virgin Islands NP is actually on St Johns. The only way there is to rent a vehicle and take a 30min ferry over to St Johns. Of course, we opted for two wheel transportation. The biggest bike we could rent on St. Thomas - a Kawasaki 250. Quite a difference from the 1500 Classic.
