Utah Day6 - Rainbow Bridge, Glen Canyon through Zion
Day 6 We decided to take the Lake Powell tour to Rainbow Bridge. One of the more elite parks as you can only get to it by way of a 51 mile trek through Lake Powell. It was a nice relaxing days with a few hours on the boat each way riding through the canyon and a couple mile round trip hike to the bridge. Total number of people on the boat was 26 and the crew was really nice. They had a giant coffee , lemonade, and water coolers and were not afraid to keep us well hydrated. We also were able to stop at Dangling Rope Marina that is accessible only by boat and helicopter. Due to the recent heat, we also decided to head back to Vegas at night after the tour so that we could enjoy the ride while temps are 100 or below. It was still 104 around midnight...
