Utah Day4 - RZR play on the Great Western Trail

Day 4
It was Sunday and all the UTVROC'ers left to go back home and I accidentally booked an extra day in Torrey, which was ok because...  I succumbed to the off-road action! I saw these cool off-road vehicles and lots of trails all over these beautiful mountains.  So we found a close rental location and off we went.  It only took 2 hours to actually get everything done and out of there :( But in the end, it was fine as we were pretty well exhausted after 3-4 hrs. of actual trail riding.

We went about 40 miles or so on the trail total.  The rocky sections were rough, Shannon had some chaffing from the seatbelt, but overall, you could really get it and climb some serious hills.

Shannon getting the shot, me relaxing in the Razr.

Shannon relaxing, me not as ambitious to get the shot.

Great fun with the most awesome chick in the world!
Fun ride!
Close-up of bark on same tree
Tree

We found some pretty far out areas on some rarely used trails.
Arches

The pine trees looked and smelled awesome

This was fun and makes a fella think about having a future
in Utah lol

Fun fast riding area.

No guardrails on trails, and nothing to interfere
with the picture either.

Water and selfie break?

Slick rock is just really neat
Shannon felt like the tree was watching us.

It's difficult to get perspective of angle, but in this case, look at
the tree on the far left and see what the slant is compared to the ground

Their sign is perfect for the area...  Camouflage!  lol

Lots of soft sand and gravel and a big heavy bike don't go
well together.  This small rock solves the problem

Shannon wanted those butterflies to sit still for a photo op, but
they refused to comply. Even the next day I never saw them
sitting still anywhere.  We assume that they are juvenile
butterflies just out of their cocoons and can't sit still a minute.
