We finally hit the cave... and it was dry!!

This glacier coming from the ceiling looks like a polar bear taking a bite out of the rock

Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon - cloudy, rainy and getting dark

Our view of the bay from our Room at Guesthouse Hvammur in Hofn

Grocery shopping is always an experience in other countries - Iceland was no different.  Prices were either very expensive or surprisingly comparable with Hawaii or extremely cheap.

Our first guesthouse was in Hofn. Private bedroom with sink, and share bathrooms and shower facilities.  (Separate stalls of course)

Always intrigued by the different sign.  In the US it is a bold EXIT - in Iceland it's a guy running downstairs.  Good thing since we believe we accidentally set off the fire alarm at 5:30am.  Felt horrible.  Our clothes had not dried overnight and I was using the hair dryer in our room to try to assist the process.  It had to be us unless of course someone was smoking in their room!!  lol
