Day 3 - Motorcycle Museum, Ostriches and Lavender Farm

Day 3

We stayed around Solvang visited with the fellow VROC'ers.  This involved a local motorcycle museum and lots of old bikes followed with a ride around the local attractions.

Dolphin fairing for aerodynamics?

Sherm with his twin, together at birth and separated every since.

Sherm and the owner talking shop.

Sherm is stumping the owner with his questions and curiousity!  He tried real hard to get us a tour of the "back room" but the owner didn't bite.  Maybe next time
The crew checking things out.

Scotty!  They had floorboards on bikes before you were even born!

Sherm kept promising mini ponies

Our dinner spot pre ride

Our fearless leader explaining that he actually turned the wrong way on purpose!

I stayed behind to catch up on email
while the gang looked at ostriches

On the road again

I will always appreciate the looks of vineyards on rolling hills

Oh, on the road again...

The gut cutout for those that need to schooch up to the table :)

Shannon calls these Cali palms...  Ask her...

Lavender farm smells nice.

Our great friend Cheryl "The Wild Rose" Murray.  She looks wild !

Sherm seems to get all the chicks...  Even my wife...  lol

Shannon's fancy bee catching photo work.
